Nesting Party Planning
A nesting party is a heartfelt and supportive way to prepare for your baby’s arrival while also nurturing yourself during the early stages of postpartum. It’s a beautiful opportunity for your closest friends and family to gather, help you prepare your home, and create a peaceful, loving environment for both you and your baby.
Not only will it help you prepare, but it also offers moments of emotional support—like writing affirmations for your labor or enjoying a soothing herbal foot soak while receiving a mothers blessing. Postpartum Belly Binding
Traditional belly binding is a time-honored postpartum practice designed to support your body’s natural recovery after childbirth. Rooted in cultural traditions from around the world, belly binding involves wrapping the abdomen with a long, supportive cloth or faja to promote healing, restore core strength, and provide emotional comfort during the postpartum period. Belly binding is most effective to be applied as soon as 4 hours up to birth up to 2 weeks postpartum. It is recommended that the bind is left on at least 1/2 a day, and for up to 23 hours. Belly binding can be applied after both a vaginal and cesarean birth. If you've had a cesarean, belly binding is generally recommended before you first stand up to walk—once approved by your doctor or midwife. I will also show your support person how to rewrap your binding or faja.
As part of each belly binding session, you’ll also receive a gentle womb massage, specially designed to:
Encourage the uterus to return to its natural position and size
Assists in postpartum hemorrhage prevention
Reduces postpartum internal organ swelling
Supports correction diastasis recti
Provides posture support during breastfeeding
Protects against hernias
Gives the mother a sense of “togetherness” and core support
Initial Belly Binding Session – $199
Includes a full consultation, womb massage, custom wrap, and hands-on binding session. Each Additional Binding – $75
Continued care with binding and womb massage to support ongoing recovery.Service Location Options:

Some hospitals have restricted visiting hours that make immediate binding difficult. I charge a$25 fee for any service rendered 9p-9a.
